This section describes the ADD Planner options available on the Tools | Options dialog. You can configure the following options:

The On-Track Reminder pops up a message window at scheduled intervals. The initial message includes a pointer to the reminder configuration window:
The On-Track Reminder is displayed by default. You can change whether the reminder is shown, the message text, and the display interval. The default values are as shown above.
Here are some ideas for reminder messages:
Be mindful of your focus right now
I CAN DO THIS !!!
Stop and stretch your neck and shoulders - breathe
It doesn't have to be perfect - it just has to be there
(Also, if you wear contact lens and tend to get dry eyes, set the reminder for 2 minutes with the message "Blink!")
ADD Planner includes a "Purge Completed Tasks" command that deletes tasks that you've marked done. To use this command, you must first configure it on the Tools | Options menu.
Select the "Purge Completed Tasks" checkbox to enable the command. When you execute the command, all tasks marked done are deleted from all views.
Select "Purge Old Appointments" checkbox to enable the "Purge Completed Tasks" command to delete appointments older than the number of days you specify.
Note: You can use "Purge Old Appointments" without selecting "Purge Completed Tasks" and vice versa.
ADD Planner can perform an automatic save of the .apf file you have open. The default is every 10 minutes. You can turn off auto-save by clicking in the checkbox to deselect it, change the save interval, make ADD Planner save after every change, and turn on prompting for reloading your ADD Planner file.
Generally, you will want to either save at intervals or save after every change, but not both. (PDAs always save after every change.)
If you do not select either auto-save option, you must manually save your ADD Planner file.
Synchronization (merging the .apf files from the PC and PDA) occurs based on your settings in ActiveSync or HotSync Manager. When a new synchronized file is generated, it is automatically loaded unless you select "Ask Before Reloading Files."
