ADD Planner 1.5.0 Software Download

Note: If you are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, you must have Administrator rights to install and register the software. (If you can install software on your system, you have Administrator rights. If someone else must install software for you, you do not have Administrator rights. If that is the case, you will need someone with Administrator rights on your computer to perform the installation for you.)

Installing ADD Planner software

1. When you install ADD Planner on your PC, you can optionally install it on a PDA.
   • If you are installing ADD Planner on a Pocket PC PDA, reset your PDA to clear working memory (see your PDA's User Guide for more details) and put it into its cradle.
   • If you are installing ADD Planner on a Palm PDA, it does not need to be in its cradle. ADD Planner will be installed the next time you hotsync the Palm.
2. If you want to use spoken reminders, click here to download the ADD Planner Speech Components Installer. (If you get a "Page Not Found" error, try this link to download instead: ADD Planner Speech Components.)

   Choose "Save" and save the installer file to the root of your C: drive (C:\ ).

   Hint: If you cannot save the file to your C: drive due to being an XP user with limited permissions, save the installer file in My Documents. You will need someone with Administrator rights on your computer to perform the installation for you.

3. Click here to download ADD Planner software. (If you get a "Page Not Found" error, try this link to download instead: ADD Planner Setup.)

   Choose "Save" and save the installer file to the root of your C: drive (C:\ ).

   Hint: If you cannot save the file to your C: drive due to being an XP user with limited permissions, save the installer file in My Documents.

4. Open Microsoft's My Computer on the desktop (or use Windows Explorer), locate the downloaded ADD Planner Speech Components Installer file, and double-click it. The installer will run.

   Note: If you are asked what program to use to open the installer file, you will need to download the appropriate MSI Installer below. Double-click it to install MSI, and then double-click on the ADD Planner Speech Components Installer.)

   • MSI Installer For Windows 95, 98, or ME.
   • MSI Installer For Windows NT and 2000.
5. After the speech components are installed, double-click on the ADD Planner Update Installer file. The installer will run.
6. By default, the installer installs ADD Planner for the PC to launch at startup; you can also have it put an ADD Planner icon on the desktop; install ADD Planner for Pocket PC, and/or install ADD Planner for Palm OS.

   Note: To install ADD Planner on a Pocket PC, the Pocket PC must be in its cradle. To install ADD Planner on a Palm, the Palm does not need to be in its cradle.



7. The installer displays the location where it will install ADD Planner - the default is C:\Program Files\Wolf in the Moon Software\ADD Planner.



8. When you're satisfied that everything is correct, choose "Next", and the installer will install ADD Planner on the selected platforms (PC, Pocket PC, or Palm device).

   If you are also installing on the Pocket PC or Palm device, you will see additional installation screens.

   Note: When you are done installing on the Pocket PC, remove the Pocket PC from its cradle and reset it. When you first start ADD Planner on the Pocket PC, select "New" on the menu at the bottom of the screen.
