ADD Planner ScreenshotsThis page contains screenshots of the ADD Planner software. See the ADD Planner Overview page to learn what ADD Planner can do.
ADD Planner Default DisplayThe default ADD Planner display shows on the left side the Daily View with the Appointment Scheduler above and the Daily Tasks List below and on the right the Project View. This example shows some ways you can use colors and icons.
Monthly ViewThis is the Monthly View, which is accessed from the View dropdown menu. You have the option whether to display repeating tasks; in this screenshot, repeating tasks have been filtered out.
Weekly ViewThis is the Weekly View, which is also accessed from the View dropdown menu. As with the Monthly View, you have the option whether to display repeating tasks; in this screenshot, repeating tasks have been filtered out.
Customized DisplayYou can customize the ADD Planner display; the program remembers the display setup when you save the file. This example shows half of the Weekly View (the last four days of the week), the Daily Tasks List (the Appointment View has been scrolled out of sight), and the Project View. Notice that in this screenshot, repeating tasks have not been filtered out of the Weekly View.
Project ViewMost ADD people are visually oriented. The ADD Planner Project View is a tree structure that lets you see all the parts of a project with as many levels of detail as you need. (You can also view multiple projects at the same time.) Because some people can be overwhelmed by too much detail, you can also "collapse" branches to reduce visual clutter. Here is a Baja vacation strategy shown in full and with all but one section collapsed to reduce visual clutter.
You can drag tasks from the Project View onto the Monthly, Weekly, or Daily View to schedule them. The tasks stay in the Project View but now have dates assigned to them. (Use Ctrl-drag to schedule a task without adding the date to the original task.) As you complete tasks, you can either mark them done (as shown in the above examples) or you can delete them.
Multiple RemindersADD Planner supports unlimited reminders for appointments. For example, when you have a dentist appointment, you might set a series of reminders like these. (The last two are for when you ought to leave, and 5 minutes after that when you really have to leave):
On-Track (mindfulness) ReminderADD Planner includes a programmable reminder to help you stay on track by popping up a message of your choosing at set intervals. This is an excellent tool to help you become mindful of your focus. Here are some example messages:
Put in whatever message helps you remember what's important. (An optometrist friend says that people who wear contact lens should put up the reminder "Blink!" every two minutes.)
